The National Direction of Graduate Curricular Programs (DNPP) is an office assigned to the Academic Vice-Rector (Acuerdo 113 de 2013 del Consejo Superior Universitario, artículo 5). Its main purpose is to ensure academic quality, research development and proper operation of graduate programs.
Functions
Propose actions to improve the quality of graduate programs or the performance of their students.
Coordinate self-assessment, accreditation and permanent monitoring of the quality of graduate programs nationwide and internationally.
Advise Faculties and to support them in the preparation of creation, opening, modification, suspension, reopening and suppression of graduate programs for consideration by the National Committee of Curricular Programs.
Support and advise on proposals for postgraduate programs to be offered in agreement with other universities or institutions in the country and abroad, inter-institutional double degree and joint degree agreements.
Maintain and update the information of the postgraduate programs of the Universidad Nacional de Colombia.
